Police Crack Down on Illegal Parking Along Joseph Lane

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda has issued a stern reminder to motorists about the persistent problem of illegal parking along Joseph Lane.

Despite repeated warnings and the installation of traffic signs and road markings, authorities say some drivers continue to flout the regulations. The practice, they stressed, not only creates obstructions but also hampers the free flow of traffic along the busy roadway.

In response, police have announced increased traffic checks in the area. Any vehicle found parked in violation will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.

“The Police Administration appeals to all road users to comply with traffic regulations and cooperate fully with the authorities,” the statement read.

“These measures are being enforced to ensure safer roadways and smoother traffic movement for everyone.”

The Force expressed appreciation to the public for its ongoing cooperation in promoting safety and order on the nation’s streets.
