A towering statue overlooking All Saints Road has ignited widespread curiosity and debate, drawing both admiration and criticism from the community.
The massive figure, recently erected by Glorious Hope Ministries, dominates the landscape and has quickly become a striking landmark.
Church leaders say the monument is more than just an imposing work of art it is a prophetic symbol inspired by scripture, intended to stir reflection on faith and remind the nation of the urgency of salvation.

Excellent reporting Shermain and Antigua.News
Not that the Church Elders explain the purpose of the statue, I don’t have a problem with it.
Whether you agree or not, it’s a bold statement. Anything that makes people pause and reflect on God is not a bad thing
Only hope that is the intended purpose and nothing else is hidden beneath
This is a shame these people are evil
Ok,so exactly what scripture supports this thing? The closest scripture of course, would be the one from Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and it resulted in a king crawling on the ground like an animal because he thought too highly of himself. You can’t mix a Babylonian entity with Christianity. How is a monstrous image derived from Israel in captivity supposed to precipitate thoughts of God? Madness. Just sheer madness.
This statue is more than stone and structure, it’s a reminder that God is still calling His people. In a time when so many are distracted by the world, a visible symbol of faith can stir hearts and bring souls back to Christ. May it stand as a beacon of hope and salvation for Antigua & Barbuda.
Very interesting! This should cause people to want to understand what this is all about.
I understand the intention, but I think the money could have gone towards helping the poor or supporting community projects
That’s what Judas said.
Shout out to the artist for this monumental( pun intended)display of talent.
I’m curious to see if, in time, people will come to embrace it like they do other landmarks
If God is good tell it to do more than be a observer to what’s happening in the world
I see it as a symbol of hope. In these troubling times, a reminder of faith is important for the community.
Honestly I dont know how to feel about this
It’s striking, yes, but I’m not sure this is the best way to reach people about faith. Actions often speak louder than monuments
People just need to serve God and forget about all the religious nonesence
Really and truly WHO CARES
A mighty reminder that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess.
I’m no biblical scholar but it remind me of how the people built a statue while waiting for Moses. Build no statues of any likeness of anything on the earth or in the waters.
