Book lovers in Antigua and Barbuda will soon have the chance to explore thousands of titles aboard a unique vessel that’s been absent from local shores for several years.
The MV Logos Hope is set to dock in Antigua next month, bringing what organizers describe as the world’s largest floating bookfair back to the island. The November arrival marks a slight delay from the initially planned October visit.
The ship’s onboard bookstore houses an impressive collection of 5,000 titles spanning a wide range of subjects. Visitors will find everything from scientific texts and medical literature to cookbooks, sports guides, hobby manuals, and children’s stories. Academic works and language learning materials are also available, all offered at affordable prices.
However, the Logos Hope experience extends beyond shopping for books. The vessel serves as a cultural hub during its port visits, hosting events and functions designed to promote cultural exchange and diversity.
According to organizers, ensuring broad access to the bookfair is a top priority. They are working to make certain that everyone in Antigua and Barbuda can take advantage of what the 2025 visit has to offer.
