Couple Arrested in Early-Morning Fraud Investigation

Police arrested a couple early Saturday morning following a search operation in New Winthropes that uncovered a range of electronic devices believed to be connected to a fraud investigation.

Reports indicate that officers from the Criminal Investigations Department executed a search warrant around 6:40 a.m. on October 4, 2025, at a residence in the area.

During the search, police reportedly seized several items, including two laptops, a tablet, a Sony recorder, two iPhone 16s, a ZTE phone, a computer CPU with a flash drive, and several other electronic devices.

The couple was taken into custody and transported to the All Saints Police Station for questioning. The seized items were also taken in for further examination.
