 Police Investigate Suspect in Attempted Robbery

The police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and apprehending a male suspect involved in an attempted robbery at a convenience store situated at the corner of Temple and New Streets.

According to reports, the incident occurred at approximately 9:54 a.m. when a solitary male entered the store wielding what appeared to be a firearm. The store owner quickly activated an alarm, prompting the suspect to flee on foot down New Street.

 

The suspect is described as having a dark complexion, a slim build, and standing approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, short blue jeans, a black and red tam, black rubber slippers with white stripes, and an orange mask covering his face. He was carrying a black knapsack.

The police urge anyone with information that could help identify or locate this individual to reach out to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at 462-3913, dial 911, or visit the nearest police station. Furthermore, the public is reminded to stay alert and report any suspicious activities immediately.
