WIOC Postpones Annual General Meeting Due to Tropical Storm
The West Indies Oil company WIOC has announced the postponement of its Annual General Meeting (AGM), originally scheduled for Thursday, October 9, 2025, as Antigua and Barbuda remains under a Tropical Storm Watch.
The decision follows advice from the Director of the Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Service, as the country braces for possible adverse weather conditions.
In a statement issued today, WIOC said:
“The new AGM meeting date and time will be determined after consultation with the Chairman of the Board. Please be so guided.”
Management says the move is in the best interest of staff and stakeholders’ safety and will provide further updates once conditions improve
