Jahfari Harper Sentenced for Larceny

Jahfari Harper, hailing from Grays Farm, has received a sentence of twenty-three (23) months at His Majesty’s Prison after admitting guilt to two distinct counts of larceny in the St. John’s Magistrate’s Court.

The accused appeared before Magistrate Mighty, where he pled guilty to a larceny charge stemming from an incident on October 8, 2025. For this offence, he was sentenced to fourteen (14) months of imprisonment.

In a separate matter, Harper also pleaded guilty to another larceny charge related to an event that took place on September 18, 2025, at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre. He received an additional nine (9) months of imprisonment for this offence.

The sentences will be served consecutively.

  3. Good! At least the court finally giving out real time for these crimes. Too much larceny going on lately — people stealing everything from handbags to hospital property. Twenty-three months sound fair if he really admit what he do

  4. Justice served. Actions have consequences maybe this will make others think twice.

  5. Hospital again? Imagine robbing people at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre! That’s low, man. The place where sick people trying to heal, and he out there thieving. Them kinda crime deserve hard sentence, for real.
