The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda has recovered a large quantity of suspected stolen property following a series of coordinated operations conducted across several communities over the past 72 hours.

The targeted exercises formed part of the Force’s ongoing crackdown on break-ins and other property-related crimes. During the searches, officers executed multiple warrants and seized numerous items, including garden and electrical tools, light fixtures, household goods, and small appliances believed to have been stolen.

Several persons of interest are currently in police custody assisting with investigations, while detectives continue efforts to trace the rightful owners of the recovered items.

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) is appealing to members of the public who may have recently fallen victim to break-ins or larceny to contact them at 462-3913 or visit the CID office to help identify and reclaim their property.

Police Administration is once again reminding residents to secure their homes, businesses, and personal belongings, and to report any suspicious activity immediately to the nearest police station or by calling 911.

Authorities say the operations will continue as part of their broader effort to disrupt criminal networks and restore public confidence in community safety.

  1. Photos make it real you can actually see what was recovered. Makes you wonder about the planning behind these thefts and how organized they are. At least police are showing they can respond effectively.

  2. Would love to see more consistent follow ups like this. Crime might start going down if these raids continue.
