Puppy Missing After Alleged Theft in St. Johnston’s Village

A St. Johnston’s Village resident has reported the theft of her puppy, allegedly taken by a man known only as “Cracky,” sometime between Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

According to the report made to the Criminal Investigations Department (C.I.D.), the owner said she had tied the puppy on her gallery around 10:00 p.m. on October 11. By the next morning, at 7:00 a.m., the animal was gone.

Officers from the C.I.D. and Grays Farm Police Station visited the scene, where they spoke with residents and gathered useful information. Despite their search, there was no trace of either Cracky or the missing puppy, which is valued at EC$1,200.

The owner expressed deep disappointment over the loss, describing the puppy as a beloved companion. Residents in the area said the situation has left them both surprised and concerned.

Police have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of ‘Cracky’ or the missing puppy to contact the C.I.D. at 462-3913 or the nearest police station.
