Fort Road Teen Charged with Multiple Traffic Offences

A 17-year-old boy from Fort Road is facing several traffic-related charges after police intercepted the vehicle he was driving earlier this week.

According to law enforcement, the incident occurred on Monday, October 13, when the teen was reportedly seen driving a white 2011 Honda Fit along Tanner Street and Anchorage Road. During a police operation in the city, officers stopped the vehicle and discovered several irregularities.

Investigations revealed that the teenager did not possess a valid driver’s licence and was driving without insurance coverage. Police also allege that the vehicle carried a registration number assigned to another individual.

The young man was taken into custody and later charged with multiple offences, including driving without a licence, driving without insurance, and fraudulent use of a registration number. He is expected to appear before the court in the coming days to answer to the charges.

In a statement, the Police Administration reminded motorists that operating a vehicle without the proper documentation is a serious offence. They urged all drivers to adhere to the traffic laws and prioritize safety on the nation’s roads.
