National Housing eyes construction of homes in Build on your own Land Program

A search is now on for contractors to construct 15 homes under the National Housing’s Build on your own Land program.

Unlike the other programs where applications are made to acquire land and a home, this initiative gives landowners the opportunity to have homes built on their property across the island.

So, at this point in time, there are 15 homes to be constructed on individuals’ private lands and National Housing is looking for contractors to execute these construction projects in Paynters, in Radio Range, in Villa, Low Pasture, Clark’s Hill, All Saints, Jennings, Cassada Gardens, New Winthropes, McKinnons, Glanvilles and Herberts. These are the areas where these 15 homes will be constructed,” Cabinet Spokesperson Maurice Merchant said.

Interested contractors can get in contact with National Housing.
