Efforts to improve road safety in St. Mary’s South have taken another step forward with the installation of a new traffic mirror, spearheaded by Senator Dwayne George.

The initiative aims to enhance visibility and awareness for motorists entering and exiting the area particularly at blind spots where drivers previously faced limited sightlines. The addition is part of Senator George’s ongoing push to make local roads safer and ensure that residents can travel with greater confidence and care.

“Continued safety within the community of St. Mary’s South remains a top priority,” Senator George said.

The senator also appealed to drivers to remain vigilant and courteous on the roads.

The installation of the mirror marks another tangible step in a series of community improvement projects being rolled out across St. Mary’s South to enhance infrastructure and overall public safety.
