The Antigua and Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association (ABHTA) has unveiled the four-member team that will represent the country at the CHTA Taste of the Caribbean competition in Barbados from November 16–18, 2025.

The National Culinary Team 2025 includes:

  • Eustance Cabral Jr., Chef de Cuisine, Jumby Bay Island – Caribbean Chef of the Year

  • Azarie Crump, Student, Muriel O’Marde Campus – Caribbean Junior Chef of the Year

  • Arielle Mills, Pastry Sous Chef, Galley Bay Resort & Spa – Caribbean Pastry Chef of the Year

  • Auslando Davis, Food & Beverage Supervisor and Sommelier, Curtain Bluff Resort – Bartender of the Year

Supporting them are Chef Olvanah Richardson (Team Manager), Chef Jean Pierre Tuitt (Junior Chef Mentor), and Jesse Thomas (Logistics Manager).

ABHTA Chairman Craig Marshall praised the team’s dedication, saying their participation highlights Antigua and Barbuda’s “rich culinary heritage and regional leadership in gastronomy.”

Tourism Authority CEO Colin C. James added that the competition “goes beyond cooking — it celebrates culinary tourism and the authentic spirit of our people.”

Since 1993, Taste of the Caribbean has been the region’s leading platform for showcasing Caribbean talent, creativity, and culture through cuisine and mixology.
