The countdown has begun for the 2025 Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association (ECVA) U-23 Men’s Championship in Antigua.
Taking place from November 12- 17 at the YMCA Volleyball Indoor facility six teams will vie for the title including hosts, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia and Anguilla.
This isn’t just any tournament; it’s a showcase of the brightest young talents in volleyball.
Brace yourselves for heart-pounding moments as these teams clash in a nail-biting round-robin format, all vying for a thrilling spot in the gold medal match.
Glenn Quilann, President of the ECVA, declared, “This championship will not only strengthen the development pathway but also provide a dynamic bridge between junior and senior National Teams. We are setting the stage to deepen National Federation engagement, ignite regional competitiveness, elevate the technical and tactical standards of play, and inspire year-round activity within ECVA’s member federations!”
The victorious team will not only walk away with gold medals and a prestigious team trophy but will also secure a coveted spot in the NORCECA 2026 Pan American Cup.
Antigua and Barbuda will play next Wednesday at 7pm versus Anguilla. Then on Thursday, at 8pm versus St. Lucia and on Friday versus Dominica at the same time.
They continue Saturday morning at 9 versus Grenada and then that same evening at 8, against St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The 5th and 6th, bronze and gold medal matches is scheduled for Sunday afternoon starting at 4.
