Police Seize Cannabis and Cash During Raids in Cedar Valley and Upper Fort Road

Two men are in police custody after officers uncovered cannabis and large sums of cash during coordinated operations in Cedar Valley Gardens and Upper Fort Road on Monday afternoon.

At approximately 3:25 p.m., members of the Narcotics Department and the K-9 Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Cedar Valley Gardens, where they reportedly found and seized a significant quantity of both Eastern Caribbean and U.S. currency.

A follow-up operation at a business establishment on Upper Fort Road led to the discovery of two pounds and three ounces of cannabis, which was promptly confiscated and taken to Police Headquarters as evidence.

The two male suspects were arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of cannabis and remain in custody as investigations continue. Police say charges will be laid following the completion of inquiries.
