Investigation Underway After Officer Injured on Duty

Authorities are currently examining an incident on Lower All Saints Road that resulted in injuries to a police officer and another individual during a confrontation. Around 9:35 p.m. on Tuesday, a police officer was near Sammy’s Supermarket when he noticed two men engaged in a fight.

The officer intervened, and during the altercation, one of the men allegedly stabbed him on the right side of the face with a broken glass bottle.

In response to the attack, the officer fired his service weapon, striking his assailant. Both men were later transported by ambulance to Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where they received treatment for injuries that were assessed as non-life-threatening. The Criminal Investigations Department is actively investigating the matter, and additional updates will be provided as the inquiry continues.

  1. Well done officer. The law should be respected and violent disrespect for the law should be met with necessary force.

If this bootleg of a human wasn’t shot. Today we would be asked to provide information. Let us not forget the potters incident.

Officers should take no chances and show no mercy when met with violent disrespect from the law.
