Business Basketball League finals to shoot off tonight

The 2025 Cool & Smooth ABBA Business League Basketball Playoff finals will shoot off tonight with Game 1 of the best of three series at JSC.

Former champions, Richie’s Shooterz will hope to win their second playoff title but will face tough competition from the 20225 league champs, Board of Education who have had a stellar season thus far having not loss a single game.

Richie’s Shooterz advanced to the finals after coming from a 1-0 deficit in their semi-final series versus the defending playoff champions, Sandals.

After winning Game 2 on Sunday night, Richie’s Shooterz hammered Sandals in Game on Tuesday night winning, 80-63.

Former national player, Devorn Benjamin led the victors with 18 points. He was assisted by Cohen Desouza who sank 17 and Jaleyle Joseph who netted 12.

For Sandals, T-Shawn Lewis made 18, Keroi ‘Dragon’ Lee scored 17 and Selassie Brathwaite chipped in with 15 points.

Meanwhile Board of Education made light work of former champions, Antigua Barbuda Transport Board in their semi-final’s series winning 2-0.

Game one will shoot off at 7:30pm with admission $10.
