Jesse Guthrie of Ottos Charged with Attempted Murder

Police have arrested and charged 21-year-old Jesse Guthrie of Ottos with attempted murder in connection with a violent attack earlier this month.

Guthrie is accused of wounding a 40-year-old Grays Farm resident on November 4 in the Tinning Village area. The victim was found unconscious along the roadside, suffering from multiple injuries to his right hand and neck.

Following investigations, Guthrie was taken into custody and has now been formally charged. He is expected to appear before the court shortly to answer to the allegation.

Police say inquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
