  2. Truth is many men in Antigua have two and three wives…common law wives to be more precise…some know of each other and others living in the dark.

  4. Yes, the story is sensational, but we must be careful not to turn people’s real struggles into national entertainment. They have families, jobs, and reputations

  5. Women are the only ones with issues because the two who spoke say they jealous. But us men have different needs. No one woman can have all the qualities we are looking for. Come on. On some days we need a quiet woman, we need one who can cook. we need freaky ones. we need sexy ones…we need crazy ones. Tell me how you can find all these qualities in one woman. We need variety. But i get that not every woman would be happy. It is just finding your girl and having all understand how it works,.

  7. Give me a f#&-@ break. Ah you too love in things. Why do we need to amend our laws to accommodate nonsense.

  8. Let’s be honest plenty people in this country living with ‘wife’ and ‘outside woman’, or ‘husband’ and ‘side man’. So why are we pretending bigamy is shocking? We need to talk about the culture we actually have, not the one we pretend exists

  9. If Antiguans are calling for the right to marry more than 1 woman just shows the how low societal beliefs are in Antigua. How did we come to this?

  10. If bigamy cases can move this quickly, why are some assault and fraud matters dragging for years? The legal system must show the same urgency for victims of violence and corruption

  11. God created marriage as one man and one woman. Some of these men already have multiple children and can barely manage their responsibilities. How will adding more partners and more financial strain help anybody? Two grown women expecting full support from one struggling man isn’t empowerment, it’s chaos. We keep creating problems for ourselves and then wondering why life so hard.

  12. This is the perfect time to discuss whether Antigua should recognize common-law relationships legally. Plenty couples together 20+ years with children, house, and still no rights because they never married
