Housing development remains a major priority, with more than 1,000 homes constructed since 2014.
The Throne Speech confirmed that the Booby Alley redevelopment will soon deliver 200 condominium-style units, while Bolans and Barbuda will each receive 50 new condos.
Government also pointed to programs supporting the vulnerable, including:
- Monthly food vouchers
- PDV-Caribe electricity vouchers
- Social Security stipends
- The HAPI program, which uses inmates to build emergency housing
