Caribbean Airlines has rolled out a new system that will keep passengers informed about their luggage throughout their journey, following the completion of a network-wide baggage tracking upgrade.
The airline announced that customers will now receive email notifications at critical points during travel—including when bags are loaded onto aircraft and when they arrive at their destination.
“This initiative is part of our consistent focus on improving the customer experience,” said Nirmala Ramai, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Caribbean Airlines. “By giving our passengers timely, accurate updates about their baggage, we are addressing one of the most common concerns in air travel. Building confidence throughout the journey.”
The notification system became possible after the airline completed implementation of Luggage Logistics’ Load & Track baggage management system across all stations in its network.
Adam Dalby, CEO of Luggage Logistics, praised the partnership: “Caribbean Airlines is our tenth national carrier, and I am delighted to have them as one of our customers. The professional and forward-thinking team had the vision to ensure their new baggage management solution met all their requirements and more.”
The Port of Spain-based carrier says the upgrade is part of ongoing efforts to improve customer communication and strengthen operational reliability.

Nice upgrade. Now I won’t have to stand at the carousel guessing whether to wait or go to lost and found.
Finally! It’s such a relief to know exactly where your bags are. No more stressing at the carousel.
If my bag could message me ‘I reach’, that would really calm my nerves. Baby steps
Notifications are helpful, but I hope CAL also improves turnaround time when bags actually go missing
Sounds good on paper. Let’s see how it works during peak season and delays
