Victory Center Appeals for Public Support After Break-In and Theft

The Victory Center is appealing for public assistance after a break-in at its facility last week resulted in the theft of several items essential to the daily care and education of its students.

According to school officials, the stolen equipment includes air-conditioning units from multiple classrooms, two televisions, two speakers, an ice maker, seven tablets, two five-gallon water bottles, and a transformer. The loss has placed significant strain on the institution, which serves children with special needs.

Founded in 2012, the Victory Center provides specialized education and developmental support for students with Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, learning disabilities and other developmental challenges. The school operates with small, ability-based classes and individualized learning plans, with some students remaining long-term while others transition back into the public school system.

Administrators say the stolen items are directly tied to creating a safe and supportive environment for the children, noting that classroom equipment plays a critical role in communication, sensory needs, and overall learning.

The school is urging anyone with information on the theft to contact the authorities or reach out to the Victory Center confidentially. Members of the public or businesses willing to assist with replacing the equipment — through donations, financial contributions, or partnerships — are also encouraged to come forward.

The Victory Center thanked the community for its ongoing support and emphasized that restoring the lost items will help ensure students are not further disadvantaged.
