CAUTION J’ouvert Donates Equipment to AIDS Secretariat for World AIDS Day Outreach
CAUTION J’ouvert has made a meaningful contribution to national public health efforts, handing over a tent, tables, and chairs to the AIDS Secretariat to support its World AIDS Day activities and ongoing community outreach across Antigua and Barbuda.
The donation, presented today, will enhance the Secretariat’s ability to create safe, accessible spaces for HIV education, testing, counselling, and public engagement throughout the year.
Event organizers credited a strong network of sponsors and partners for making the initiative possible. Premier Beverages, Antigua Distillery Limited, Anjo Wholesale, FLOW, Carmelita Place, Brew Café, Automotive Art, Roll-Off Trucking, Knowles Trucking, Island Sanitation, and dedicated CAUTION J’ouvert patrons all contributed to the effort.
Their support, organizers said, reflects a shared commitment to advancing public health, reducing stigma, and empowering vulnerable communities.
World AIDS Day serves as a reminder that ending discrimination, expanding access to care, and strengthening education require collective action. CAUTION J’ouvert representatives said they are honoured to play a role in supporting the AIDS Secretariat’s work and look forward to continued partnership in building a healthier, more inclusive Antigua and Barbuda.
