Another Antiguan baker has joined the roster of nominees for the 2026 Caribbean Baking Awards, bringing the twin-island nation’s representation to three talented culinary artists.
Gabrielle Thomas, representing Antigua and Barbuda, has been officially nominated in the Pastry Chef of the Year category.
Responding to news of her nomination, Thomas expressed heartfelt appreciation for the recognition.
“This recognition means so much, and I couldn’t have done it without the love and support of my amazing family, friends, and community,” she said.
Thomas now joins fellow Antiguans Timoy Titus and Lana Williams, who were previously announced as nominees for the regional baking competition.
Timoy Titus, owner of Teez Delights, has been nominated for Best Cake Designer, marking his third consecutive year receiving recognition at the awards.
Lana Williams, the creative force behind The Purple Rose Batter, has also secured her nomination for the 2026 awards in the Innovative Baker of the Year category.
The 2026 Caribbean Baking Awards will take place in Saint Martin from July 24–26, 2026. Nominations remain open until February 1, 2026, with public voting set to begin on April 7, 2026.
