Youth Arise Antigua ended 2025 on a high note with two impactful community initiatives, underscoring its commitment to service and youth empowerment under the leadership of Makiba Ward.

The organisation hosted a Thanksgiving Lunch with the Elderly on November 29 at the Fiennes Institute Nursing Home, where members and volunteers shared meals and spent time with residents, fostering care and intergenerational connection. The year concluded with a Christmas Toy Drive on December 13, during which more than 200 toys were distributed to children in St John’s.

Youth Arise Antigua has also opened registration for new members for 2026, which runs from December 1, 2025, to January 16, 2026. Looking ahead, the organisation says it plans to expand its outreach, strengthen partnerships, and continue empowering young people to contribute to national development in Antigua and Barbuda.
