SLBMC Celebrates Arrival of New Year’s Baby

The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC) began the new year on a joyful note with the arrival of its only New Year’s baby, a healthy baby girl born to Junique Charles Archibald.

According to information shared by the hospital, the newborn weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces at birth and was warmly welcomed by her family, with staff noting the happiness and excitement surrounding her arrival.

In recognition of the special milestone, Departmental Nurse Manager Sis. Anne Marie Browne Isaac, along with Dr. Eldean Eudelle, formally presented Junique with a gift to mark the first and only delivery recorded at the facility on New Year’s Day.

The hospital also extended sincere thanks to Yvonne and Ronald Fraser for their generosity in providing the gift basket presented to the new mother.

Officials at SLBMC described the birth as a symbolic start to the year, reflecting themes of hope, renewal and new beginnings for the family and the wider community.
