A resident of Nut Grove contacted police after hearing what sounded like a gunshot while inside her home late at night.
Officers responding to the report observed what appeared to be entry and exit holes in plywood on a northern porch, consistent with damage caused by ammunition. A search of the interior and exterior of the home failed to locate any spent shells or projectiles.
FERU personnel processed the scene, and police continue to interview residents in the area as investigations continue.
