In an effort to be more transparent, a press conference was held with members of the National Security Council at the Parliament Building.

The conference is giving the media and the public the opportunity to receive first-hand information from all the security sectors in Antigua and Barbuda, that being the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force, the ONDCP and Customs and Immigration.

Several matters were discussed to include crime strategies for the island, the new policy about regarding the country accepting migrants, the procurement of additional equipment, strengthening maritime defences and tackling illegal firearms.

Chief of Defense Staff, Brigadier Telbert Benjamin, Commissioner of Police, Mr. Everton Jeffers, Chief Immigration Officer, Ms. Katrina Yearwood, Director, ONDCP, Colonel Edward Croft and RPFAB Public Relations Officer Frankie Thomas were present and open to answering questions from the media.

  2. They are been made to kangaroo themselves by the puppet master, this is what I meant by a full state capture, they are all compromise by some largesse from Gaston, but elmeade Jarvis paid the price in prison and also the late Leroy king.
None of you saw the the sudden wealth of ALP politicians and family that grew exponentially? But you come parade your a$$e$ before the batting eye of the USA government putting your necks in the block for Gaston.
These ALP politicians just want to protect their large stash a cash on those offshore bank account abroad and their condominiums. They are afraid the USA will expose and seize them, so all the thieving Caribbean politicians are dancing to trump tune.
