Reigning Carnival Queen Kia Kirwan will carry Antigua and Barbuda’s hopes when she competes for the Miss OECS crown later this month.
The pageant, scheduled for January 30th at Dominica’s Windsor Park Sports Stadium, will see Kirwan face off against representatives from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the British Virgin Islands, Dominica, and Anguilla in a showcase of regional talent and beauty.
Beyond her current reign as Queen of Carnival 2025, her pageant credentials include winning the Miss Antigua and Barbuda Labour Queen title in 2016.
The evening event, set to begin at 8 p.m., will unfold under the theme “Crowning Radiance, Embracing Unity,” reflecting the spirit of cooperation and excellence that defines the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States.
Kirwan will be vying to succeed Dominica’s Kyanna Dyer, who currently holds the Miss OECS 2025 title.
