Students from St. John’s Catholic School recently enjoyed an immersive educational experience during a guided tour of the cruise ship AIDAperla, organised in partnership with Antigua Cruise Port.

The students were warmly welcomed on board by members of the ship’s crew, led by Aubrey Miranda, General Manager of AIDAperla. Throughout the visit, students participated in engaging, interactive activities that provided real-world insight into the operations of the maritime and cruise industries.

The tour is part of Antigua Cruise Port’s ongoing commitment to youth engagement and education, aimed at increasing awareness of the cruise sector’s role in the national economy and inspiring interest in future careers in tourism, hospitality, and maritime services.

Antigua Cruise Port has indicated that similar educational ship tours will continue as part of its outreach efforts. Schools interested in participating in future programmes are encouraged to contact the Antigua Cruise Port team for further information.
