Residents of St. John’s City West have been invited to apply for a new 2026 scholarship programme sponsored by Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne, aimed at expanding access to practical, career-focused education.
Under the initiative, ten constituents will receive fully funded scholarships to pursue selected short courses at The University of the West Indies (UWI) Global Campus, Antigua. A wide range of courses is being offered, including Advanced Human Resource Management, Advanced Supervisory Management, Financial Planning for Small Businesses, Introduction to Human Resource Management, Marketing Essentials, Labour Law, Occupational Health and Safety Fundamentals, Office Management, Project Management, Supervisory Management, Principles of Teaching Young Children, and The Learning Environment (Practicum), among others.
