Chairman of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP), Hon. E.P. Chet Greene, has expressed deep gratitude to the people of Antigua and Barbuda as the party marks a significant anniversary, crediting national unity and public trust as the driving forces behind the country’s recent progress.
In a statement issued on behalf of the party’s leadership and membership, Greene thanked citizens for their “unwavering support, steadfast prayers and hard work,” describing them as the true engine of national development.
He said the ABLP remains humbled by the continued confidence placed in the party and in the leadership of Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne, noting that the Prime Minister, Cabinet of Ministers and the wider ABLP family stand united in appreciation of the public’s trust.
Greene highlighted what he described as “remarkable achievements” over the past three years, pointing to advances in education, healthcare, infrastructure and economic empowerment. He stressed, however, that these accomplishments were not the work of the government alone.
“The achievements are a shared victory born of national unity and purpose,” the chairman stated, emphasizing that progress has been made possible through collective effort.
As the party reflects on its journey, Greene said the anniversary also marks a moment of renewed commitment to service. He pledged that the ABLP will continue to govern with dedication, integrity and a clear focus on improving the lives of all citizens.
The chairman reaffirmed the party’s goal of building a nation where prosperity is both stable and expansive, with opportunities reaching every household.
“Guided by faith and united in purpose, we remain servants of the people,” Greene said, offering assurances that through continued diligence and committed service, Antigua and Barbuda’s best days are still ahead.
