Leadership in Action as Levor Henry Earns Doctoral Degree

Dr. Levor Henry

In an era defined by rapid digital disruption, organizational transformation, and intensified global competition, leaders who combine academic depth with real world execution are increasingly essential. One such leader is Dr Levor Henry, who has recently earned his Doctor of Business Administration in Leadership from the Switzerland School of Business and Management in Geneva, with a research focus on digital change and transformation in the modern business environment.

Reflecting on the achievement, Dr Henry said, “Earning this doctorate represents far more than a personal milestone. It reflects my belief that effective leadership today requires a deep understanding of digital transformation, organizational culture, and the responsibility leaders have to guide people through change with clarity and purpose. My goal has always been to apply learning in ways that create real, measurable impact, especially within developing and small state economies like Antigua and Barbuda.”

Dr Henry’s doctoral achievement builds on an extensive academic foundation that includes an MBA in Information Technology Management, a Master’s degree in Organizational Communication, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, alongside postgraduate studies in Artificial Intelligence and Business Adoption at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Engineering.

With more than fifteen years of professional experience spanning telecommunications, energy, utilities, education, financial services, hospitality and global healthcare, Dr Henry has established a reputation as a leader who operates at the intersection of strategy, technology, and people.

He currently serves as Head of Sales and Marketing at APUA Telecommunications, where he oversees retail and commercial business development across a diverse telecommunications portfolio. In this role, Dr Henry leads market facing initiatives grounded in disciplined strategy, data driven decision making, and a strong emphasis on customer value.

Prior to joining APUA Telecommunications, Dr Henry held senior roles at the forefront of large-scale transformation initiatives. As Change Management Lead at Fresenius Medical Care, a global medical solutions provider headquartered in Germany and Boston, he supported enterprise-wide change readiness and ERP system migrations across international operations. Earlier, as a Change Management Consultant with Consumers Energy in Michigan, he supported digital transformation initiatives within a highly regulated utility environment.

His commercial leadership was further demonstrated during his tenure as Brand and Commercial Manager at the West Indies Oil Company, where he led initiatives that delivered consistent year over year growth.

Across each phase of his career, a consistent theme emerges. Dr Henry understands that successful transformation extends beyond systems and technology. It requires aligning people, culture, and leadership to deliver sustainable results.

As organizations in the Caribbean and beyond navigate increasing digital and economic pressures, leaders such as Dr Henry exemplify the thoughtful, execution focused leadership required for long term success. His career reflects not only academic accomplishment, but a sustained commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and impact, with a strong desire to contribute meaningfully to the continued development of Antigua and Barbuda.

  3. This is the type of leadership profile young professionals need to see. Academic depth combined with real-world execution is rare, and it’s encouraging to see someone applying it regionally instead of only abroad.
