Police Arrest Suspect After Armed Robbery at Enzo’s Restaurant

The police have apprehended a male suspect linked to an alleged robbery at Enzo’s Restaurant, situated at the intersection of St. John’s Street and Popeshead Street.

According to reports, at approximately 2:20 a.m. on Monday, January 19, two male suspects entered the restaurant while an employee was at the cash register.

One suspect, described as roughly 5 feet 11 inches tall, slender, dressed in a green hoodie and shorts, and wearing a mask, allegedly pointed what seemed to be a firearm at the employee.

Meanwhile, a second suspect reportedly jumped over the counter, stealing a Samsung A25 cellular phone valued at $1,000, along with a cash pan containing an undisclosed amount of money.

Both suspects are said to have fled the scene on foot heading east.

Police officers swiftly responded and conducted a search of the surrounding area.

A male suspect from Villa has been arrested and taken into custody on suspicion of robbery.

The investigation is ongoing.

The police are urging anyone with information that could aid in this investigation to reach out to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) or the nearest police station.
