
Metropolitan College of Medicine White Coat Ceremony at the Royalton Hotel
Metropolitan College of Medicine (MCM) hosted its White Coat Ceremony on Saturday at the Royalton Hotel, formally marking the transition of approximately 45 medical students into the clinical phase of their training.
Students from MD1 to MD5 levels were coated during the ceremony, including those currently undertaking clinical rotations at various private medical clinics and at the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre (MSJMC).

Rotations completed span key medical disciplines such as Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery and Psychiatry.
The cohort included approximately 25 international students from India, Nigeria, the United States and Pakistan, alongside local Antiguan students. Among the Antiguans coated was Jason Mansoor.
The White Coat Ceremony symbolises students’ commitment to professionalism, ethical practice and patient care as they advance in their medical training.
