Fugitive Donte Hunkins
Police have successfully recaptured wanted fugitive Donte Hunkins, who escaped from police custody more than a month ago.
Hunkins was located on Saturday in an abandoned building in the Whenner Road area, where he was apprehended without incident.
He has since been taken into custody and is currently assisting police with ongoing investigations into allegations of fraud and escaping lawful custody.
During the operation, a 17-year-old female was also found inside the building and taken into police custody as investigations continue.
The Police Administration has expressed sincere thanks to members of the public for their assistance and continued cooperation, noting that public support played a crucial role in the successful recapture of the suspect.
