Two in Police Custody in Connection with Reported Robbery

Two men are presently in police custody, aiding investigations into a reported robbery.

In the early hours of Monday, officers from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Task Force carried out a search warrant at a property located in the Golden Grove area.

The two male residents were arrested on suspicion of robbery and were later transported to the St. John’s Police Station for questioning.

The police will provide additional updates as more information emerges.

  5. I’m relieved to hear that police have people in custody, but at the same time I’m still shaken by how bold these crimes have become. Arrests are a start, not the finish line.
