Constable Anestine Massicot of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda has distinguished herself through her exceptional performance in an intensive international police training program held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
As the sole participant chosen for the esteemed IACP/UAE Ministry of Interior Police Academy Exchange Programme, this young officer successfully completed the course in January 2026, showcasing her professionalism, discipline, adaptability, and unwavering commitment to excellence throughout the training.
Her instructors noted her sharp analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and impressive ability to apply policing concepts during both theoretical lessons and scenario-based practical exercises.
Furthermore, her conduct exemplified a solid understanding of professional standards, characterized by punctuality, respect, accountability, and a composed demeanor in all interactions with instructors, staff, and fellow trainees.
In October 2024, Constables Theona Pascal, Jahmesha Daniel, and Shawn Silston were also selected for the same program, successfully completing the course in January 2025.
The program lasts four to five months, depending on the training cycle, immersing participants in a structured academy environment that encompasses physical fitness training, discipline drills, practical policing exercises, and academic studies.
All costs associated with the program, including travel, accommodation, meals, training materials, and medical insurance, are fully covered by the UAE Ministry of Interior, demonstrating a strong commitment to international cooperation and capacity building.
This level of training highlights the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda’s ongoing dedication to continuous professional development, international collaboration, and strengthening ties with global law enforcement professionals.
