Police are investigating a double shooting that left two men seriously injured on a farm off Pares Main Road on Thursday evening.
The incident occurred shortly before 8:00 p.m. while the men were reportedly working on the farm. According to preliminary information, they were attacked by an unknown assailant or assailants.
One of the victims, a man in his mid-50s, was reportedly shot three times in the back. The second victim, a man in his 30s, sustained a gunshot wound to the face near his mouth.
Both men were rushed to hospital, where they remain in serious condition and are receiving medical treatment.
Police are currently on the scene conducting investigations. No arrests have been made, and a motive for the shooting has not yet been determined.
