St. John’s Rural South Residents Invited to Town Hall Meeting at Golden Grove

Residents of St. John’s Rural South will have the opportunity to engage directly with senior government and party officials when a town hall meeting is held this Thursday evening at the Golden Grove Primary School.

The meeting, which gets underway at 6:00 p.m., is being organised by the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) as part of its ongoing community outreach efforts aimed at fostering dialogue and addressing constituent concerns.

The panel will feature Parliamentary Representative for St. John’s Rural South, Hon. Daryll Matthew, alongside Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne, Attorney General Hon. Steadroy “Cutie” Benjamin, and ABLP Chairman Hon. E.P. Chet Greene.

According to organisers, the town hall will focus on a range of issues that directly impact residents’ daily lives. Key agenda items include infrastructure development, such as road works, constituency cleaning and street lighting, as well as employment opportunities, housing, crime and immigration policies.

Community members are being encouraged to attend and actively participate in the discussions, with organisers emphasising that the forum is designed to give residents a platform to raise questions, share concerns and offer suggestions.
