Xavier Alexis Davis

A 31-year-old man from All Saints is on remand after appearing before Magistrate Andrew Mighty this morning in connection with a significant firearms and ammunition seizure.

Xavier Alexis Davis, who was arrested and charged following a Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Task Force operation in the Mack Pond area on Monday night, faced six charges — possession of two pistols, specifically a 9mm Canik Mete MC9 and a Glock 43X 9mm, along with possession of a 30-round magazine, a 12-round magazine, ninety-three 9mm rounds of ammunition, and one .25 round of ammunition.

During this morning’s proceedings, Davis’s attorney Wendel Alexander requested disclosure of the police file. Magistrate Mighty adjourned the matter to March 25, with Davis remaining on remand in the interim.

The charges follow an operation carried out by CID Task Force officers on the night of Monday, February 16, 2026, in the Mack Pond area, which led to the seizure of the weapons and ammunition and Davis’s subsequent arrest and formal charging on Tuesday, February 17.

  1. It’s scary to think someone could have that many firearms and ammunition in one place. Operations like this show the importance of proactive policing in keeping communities safe.

  2. The variety of weapons and magazines seized makes me wonder if this was intended for personal protection or part of something larger. Either way, it’s a relief they were intercepted.
