Police Arrest Two Suspects in Ongoing Cheque Fraud Probe
Two male suspects are currently in police custody as they assist with investigations related to attempts to reportedly convert two cheques for their own benefit.
On Thursday, February 19, shortly after 1:30 p.m., detectives from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) responded to a report at a local bank on High Street. The two individuals were allegedly found in possession of two cheques with significant amounts.
Both suspects were subsequently arrested and taken into custody. The police also recovered the cheques as part of the ongoing investigation.
