APUA undertakes mainline replacement in Newfield

The APUA Water Business Unit is currently undertaking a mainline replacement project in Newfield as part of our continued efforts to strengthen the water distribution network.

The project covers approximately one mile of pipeline and is expected to be completed within one week.

During this time, sections of the existing cast iron main will be removed and replaced with durable HDPE pipes. This upgrade will help improve water quality and provide a more consistent and reliable service to customers within the community.

During the execution of these works, customers in the affected area may experience a temporary disruption in water supply until the upgrade is completed.

Motorists and road users are kindly asked to exercise caution and remain mindful of the active work zone while travelling through the area.

We appreciate your understanding as we carry out these important upgrades to better serve the community.
