ABEC Headquarters and Registration Units to Close Early for Maintenance

The public is being advised that the Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) will close its headquarters and all registration units early on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, to facilitate scheduled maintenance work.

According to the notice, maintenance will be carried out at ABEC’s headquarters, located in the David Shoul Building on Queen Elizabeth Highway. As a result, operations at the main office and all registration units across the country will cease at 12:00 noon.

The temporary closure is expected to impact services such as voter registration, updates to voter information, and other administrative processes typically handled at ABEC offices.

Officials have assured the public that normal business operations will resume on Thursday, March 19, 2026.
ABEC has apologised for any inconvenience caused and is encouraging members of the public to plan accordingly to avoid disruption.
