BarNone Restaurant has been crowned the People’s Choice Award winner for Restaurant Week 2025, earning widespread praise from diners for its standout cuisine and exceptional service.

The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA) announced on April 2, recognizing the restaurant’s ability to capture the hearts—and taste buds—of patrons during the annual culinary showcase.

Restaurant Week, a key feature of Antigua and Barbuda Culinary Month held each May, highlights the country’s diverse and vibrant food scene. The People’s Choice Award is uniquely determined by public voting, making it one of the most coveted honours of the event.

BarNone distinguished itself among a strong field of competitors with its creative menu, use of fresh local ingredients, and welcoming atmosphere. Diners commended the restaurant for its fusion of Caribbean flavours with modern culinary techniques, delivering a memorable dining experience.

General Manager William Stanley Minors expressed gratitude for the recognition, noting that the award holds special meaning as it comes directly from customers.

“Being recognized by the very people we serve means everything to us. As a first-time participant in Restaurant Week, this honour is truly special. We remain committed to serving with passion, authenticity, and heart,” he said.

Antigua and Barbuda Culinary Month Lead Shermain Jeremy also praised the achievement, describing BarNone as a reflection of the creativity and excellence within the nation’s culinary industry. She encouraged residents and visitors alike to experience the restaurant’s offerings during Restaurant Week 2026.

The Tourism Authority continues to position culinary experiences as a major draw for visitors, emphasizing food as an essential part of the destination’s appeal.

Restaurant Week 2026 is expected to once again bring together top dining establishments from across Antigua and Barbuda, offering specially curated menus and immersive food experiences.
