The United Progressive Party (UPP) has officially selected Adrian Williams as its candidate for the St. John’s City South constituency in the upcoming general election.

The announcement follows what party officials described as a successful meeting of the UPP’s Central Executive Committee on April 1, where the decision was finalized. In a notable move, the party has waived its standard membership requirement to allow Williams to contest the seat.
