Emergency crews are currently on the scene at the Gambles Medical Centre following reports of a fire at the facility.
Early information indicates that smoke was seen coming from the building, prompting an urgent call to the fire department. Firefighters responded swiftly and worked to assess and contain the situation.
At this time, the extent of the fire and any potential damage remain unclear.
There have been no immediate reports of injuries.

Very sad. Hope no one was injured. thank God it happened on a holiday
Our fire department is a joke!
This is extremely troubling if true. Five trucks on scene and only one had water? By the time that ran out, the building was already burning out of control. That is not just unfortunate …. that is a serious operational failure that needs to be investigated immediately
We cannot ignore the fact that professionals lawyers, doctors, and even a dentist were inside or affected. This could have been even worse. The response needs to match the seriousness of the situation.
Reports that firefighters had to try pumping water from a pond and the pump wasn’t working raise even more concerns. In a real emergency, equipment must be functional and ready. Bit dis is antigua…There is no excuse for that kind of breakdown.
