The police are actively investigating the traffic collision that took place on Easter Monday, April 6, along Pares Main Road, which involved a white Toyota Hiace motor van and a white Honda Accord motor car.

Reports indicate that the driver of the Honda Accord was speeding from east to west and overtook a line of traffic. During this maneuver, the vehicle collided with the Toyota Hiace, which was traveling in the opposite direction.

As a result of the collision, four individuals, including a minor, suffered injuries and were transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre by Emergency Medical Services personnel.

All those involved in the accident are currently hospitalized with multiple serious injuries. However, the minor, a 63-year-old male, and an 18-year-old male have been reported to be in stable condition. Medical teams are working diligently to stabilize the driver of the car. Both vehicles sustained significant damage.

The Police Administration is urging all motorists to exercise caution while on the nation’s roads and to avoid reckless driving behaviors that could jeopardize lives.

  4. Is it bad if I say, I hope they never get him stabilized? Or will Antigua.news and God cancel me for the comment? Well hey, it’s already been said. Let’s see if my comment will still be here at 12pm. In reality, it’s time enough they stop the stupid driving. It’s just reckless and careless about other road users. People who drive like this don’t love themselves or others.
