Two of the four people injured in a serious Easter Monday crash along Pares Main Road remain in critical condition at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.

Reports indicate that the two adults are currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit, while a child who was also injured is said to have sustained head trauma.

The crash, which involved a car and a passenger bus, left emergency responders racing against time as they worked to assist the victims.

While details of the collision’s cause remain unclear, the severity of the impact has raised concerns.

First responders moved swiftly at the scene, stabilizing the injured before transporting them to the hospital for urgent medical care.

Emergency Medical Services deployed three units as part of the response, highlighting the seriousness of the incident.

The crash has added to growing concerns about road safety, particularly following a series of recent accidents across the island.

Investigations into the circumstances of the collision are ongoing.
