
Voter ID cards are being renewed at a vigorous pace in this election season
The Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) has reported that the nationwide distribution of replacement voter identification cards has reached just over the halfway mark, as the country prepares for the April 30 general elections

According to the latest cumulative report up to April 8, 2026, a total of 26,400 voter ID cards have been processed across all 17 constituencies, representing approximately 50–55%.

How long does it take for me to get one? I’m a first time registrar. And if I recently moved in the constituency, can I register there? Just want to know… I would love to vote this election I may not even be able to. @Antigua.news, @comment section, can someone advise me on this
